These are little plastic end pieces that are glued on to the 'side garnish protector' for the hardtop. More and more hardtops are missing one or both of the little 'triangles' that complete the weatherstripping between the hardtop and the A-piller (see pic below, marked with paint). I agree with Dev though, spacers will put more stress on the wheel bearings, as it effectively acts as a lever to amplify the weight of the wheel. Replace those missing triangles on your hardtop. I just rolled the fenderrs using a 2' pvc pipe and couldn't get it to rub with alot of aggresive driving. I also didnt run them long enough to wear out a wheel bearing prematurely though, and made sure my lugnuts were torqued after installing and driving about 100 miles. I bought the car in December and know it has the KYB AGX's but dont know what springs it has the alighnment mechanic says he thinks they are lowered as it has a pretty negative camber effect so I will have to figure this out.

I've had them on for 30 miles and think it will rub as the tires are flush with the outside of the rear fender but plan on rolling them soon. Sport MAx 962's (kinda heavy but looks to good to pass on that)
